“I am Sulyman Mustapha Bola. I was born in 1984 in Accra Ghana. My specializations are drawing and painting. My whole life is art. Right from my childhood, I loved drawing anything that came from my heart—which you know as imagination. Life and still life were my favorite subjects. My habit was so intense that I didn’t have any time to take notes during junior high school. Because of this, my older brother had to keep a close eye on me.
“Art is life and joy. Music makes me feel alive, especially when I am listening to music while working with my favorite medium, the pencil. It always inspires me to express myself in detail.
“I am a versatile artist, working with many types of media, including pastel, oil paint, watercolor, acrylic, and charcoal. I love to draw people in the street, which makes me bold and full of speed, completing 20-minute life drawings. This is where I draw anybody who wants to sit in front of me as a model. I try to make this a daily practice.
“I believe that every artist was created with a large memory, which can store whatever you see in your daily life.
